Sustainable Business Network Award

The Sustainable Business Network (SBN) represents over 600 businesses in New Zealand. SBN promotes sustainable business practices that enhance economic prosperity, environmental quality and social equity. 

The judges looked at every aspect of our business, from our proposed $2 billion investment in renewable generation, to our Health and Safety programme, to our Green Office project, to progress on working with customers to reduce carbon emissions.

The award was presented to us at the National SBN awards held in Auckland on 25 October 2007.
