How will you spend your gas + electricity discount?
Our DualEnergy™ discount means new and existing customers who combine their gas (natural gas or Rockgas LPG) and electricity with us will receive a discount of 40 cents a day for every full billing period – that’s over $160 every year (including GST). What’s more, you’ll have just one energy company to deal with and one bill to pay each month (one bill excludes Rockgas LPG).
What you need to do:
- Sign up with Contact for both electricity and natural gas or Rockgas LPG
- Let us know you have both energy types with us and you want to receive the DualEnergy™ discount. Email help@contactenergy.co.nz or phone 0800 401 239.
- Figure out what to do with your discount!

The DualEnergy™ discount applies to accounts at the same property, excludes automotive LPG and cylinders less than 45kgs, and is not available for PrePower or Time of Use accounts. 40 cents per day excludes GST and only applies to full billing periods in which you receive all of your gas and electricity from us.
